KMWE Precision Components - Series

- series of several score to several hundred items a year
- larger series of products up to several thousands items a year for which special production cells are fitted in

Both the larger and smaller series are made increasingly via automated production on partly robotised machining centres, which can be used 24 hours a day. A product configurator links the smaller series of products as much as possible to product families, which reduces set-up times to a minimum.

The reduced man-dependency can only be successful if the machining process is fully controlled. KMWE has therefore dedicated itself to SPC techniques over the last few years, which can even be used with small series.
