Job description

The Account Manager (AM) serves as the primary business contact with the customer. The AM is responsible for managing its customers and growing these customers. The scope of responsibility will be all Healthtech accounts or part of the Industrial accounts. The Healttech accounts are renowned OEM’s in Europe, such as Plexus, Maquet and Philips.

 

The AM develops and executes the sales strategy and sales plan for selected accounts and realizes profitable growth in the Industrial/Healthtech market segment. He or she will represent the customer needs by setting and monitoring the QLTC goals within the organization, supporting the internal organisation as member of the business team. In addition, the AM builds long lasting relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities and will be involved in New Business development activities within the Industrial/Healttech market for KMWE Group Worldwide.

 

The AM will be part of the KMWE Industrial and Healttech Sales team, based in Eindhoven, and report to the Business Manager Industrial & Healthtech.

 

Required knowledge and skills

You are an experienced mechanical/industrial engineer (HBO/WO) or business management professional with technical affinity. Furthermore, you combine curiosity towards engineering, machining and assembly with keen commercial feeling and experience. Know-how in the field of Industrial or Healthtech machinery or modules, based upon milling and turning, as well as a proven track record in managing client accounts and new business development are strongly preferred.

You have the ability and proven skills in strategy development in order to help further shape the strategy of the Industrial & Healthtech market. You are self-driven with an entrepreneurial spirit, focused on building long lasting relationships. You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to support and work effectively with both high profile clients as well as the internal organisation. Furthermore you are fluent in Dutch, English and German and have a basic financial know-how for making cost calculations and analyses.
