Program – lecture Rob van Loon
Additive Manufacturing, specifically Laser Powder Bed Fusion, is a special process where many factors have a substantial influence on the properties of the final product. To ensure repeatable part quality with batch size 1, it is necessary that these factors are understood and managed in a robust process.
In this lecture, we would like to show the importance of the entire production process as well as how small deviations to the process can have a lasting impact on part functionality and how these can be overcome to assure part quality in serial production.
