KMWE has won the Wim van der Leegte Award 2026 during the final of the Brainport Entrepreneurship Awards on Thursday 21 May.

Winning this award is an achievement we are extremely proud of. The award is a fantastic recognition for everyone at KMWE who contributes every day to innovation, talent development, sustainable growth and world-class high-tech manufacturing.
The Wim van der Leegte Award is presented to companies that make an impact within the Brainport region. Companies that look ahead, invest in people and contribute to the future of the high-tech manufacturing industry.
The award is named after Wim van der Leegte: one of the entrepreneurs who helped shape Brainport Eindhoven and who continues to inspire the region today.
Building innovation and development together
At KMWE, colleagues work every day on high-tech solutions for customers around the world. From engineering and production to additive manufacturing, assembly and re-use: innovation and development are at the heart of the organisation.
This award confirms that investing in technology and investing in people go hand in hand. Talent development, craftsmanship and collaboration have been an important part of the KMWE way of working for many years.
We also congratulate VGI GROEP and Van Happen Containers on their nomination and contribution to a strong Brainport region.
