Leadership transition at KMWE Precision B.V.

Tjebbe Smit

Tjebbe Smit, the current Managing Director, will be leaving at the end of 2023 to assume the role of CEO at Vostermans Companies. Effective February 1st, Tjebbe will be succeeded by Michiel Hekkens, who brings extensive experience in the High-Tech industry. Tjebbe: “It was an honor to work in the heart of the High-Tech industry with a fantastic team of very talented people”.

Growth KMWE Precision B.V.

Over the past three years, KMWE Precision B.V. realized a significant growth and substantial improvements under the leadership of Tjebbe. “Tjebbe’s dedicated focus on enhancing team competences and fostering employee involvement contributed significantly to the company’s success” states Edward Voncken, CEO of KMWE Group. “We are happy to hand over the responsibilities to Michiel, who will lead KMWE Precision B.V. towards continued growth in the years ahead.”

As of February 1st, Michiel Hekkens will join us as the new Managing Director of KMWE Precision B.V. Michiel: “I am impressed with the broad set of capabilities within KMWE and look forward to working with the team to help our customers excel in their businesses”.
