Podcast Lifelong Learning with our colleague Ron van der Reest

Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning is one of the buzzwords of recent years and is receiving more and more attention. The responsibility of Lifelong Learning lies with the employee, but the employer plays an important role as well. In addition, Lifelong Learning can also be very beneficial for an employer when it comes to retaining employees in times of labour shortage.

Finding and retaining talent is one of the biggest challenges for the Brainport region in the upcoming years. The number of vacancies is rising at a dizzying speed, whilst the number of available people is decreasing due to an aging population and dejuvenation. This requires a different view of the labour market.

Podcast

Monique Lemaire from Leerwerkloket Zuidoost-Brabant and Ron Van der Reest from KMWE (Learning & Development Officer) talked to moderator Tom Jessen about Lifelong Learning and how it can be applied in an organization. What is their view of Lifelong Learning and how can you stimulate your employees?

Listen to their conversation about Lifelong Learning in the Brainport podcast. How do you approach this subject within your organization? How difficult is it to build Lifelong Learning into the organization? Should you read a resume differently? How do you motivate your colleagues? It’s all covered in this podcast.
